For the first time ever, Womb Communications gave us the opportunity for catering 80 of their guests, including five Jain attendees. Arriving promptly at 10:30 AM to prepare for the 11:30 AM festivities, our team ensured that every detail was perfect.
Welcome Drinks:
To set the tone, we served two refreshing welcome drinks:
- Orange Passionate: A delightful blend of orange juice, lime juice, and passion fruit syrup served in a pre-chilled glass—a vibrant start to the celebration.
- Apple Cinnamon Crusta: Apple juice shaken with cinnamon syrup and lime juice, garnished with burnt cinnamon—warm and inviting.
Starters Buffet:
Our starters were designed to tantalize the taste buds:
- Edamame Mousse on Mini Puff Disks: A creamy, plant-based delight that was a feast for the eyes.
- Butter Lime Gnocchi: Pillowy gnocchi with a zesty twist that melted in the mouth.
- Feta Cheese and Leek Cigar with Sweet Chili Sauce: A crispy treat that added a touch of elegance.
- Chicken Dim Sum with Chili Oil and Sweet Soy: Steamed to perfection, these dim sums were bursting with flavor.
- Cajun Spiced Lamb Kebabs: Boldly spiced, these kebabs were a favorite among meat lovers.
- Coconut Prawns with Mango Salsa: A tropical addition that brought a refreshing contrast.
Main Course:
Our buffet featured an array of sumptuous dishes:
- Stuffed Ravioli in Parmesan Cream Sauce: Rich and creamy, this dish was comfort food at its finest.
- Grilled Cottage Cheese Steaks with Pimento Cream Sauce: A vegetarian highlight that delighted the palate.
- Pepper Crusted Chicken with Red Wine Reduction Sauce: A dish that brought sophistication to the table.
- Grilled Fish Fillet with Lemon, Caper, and Coriander Cream Sauce: Light and fresh, it was a must-try.
- Veg Thai Green Curry: Aromatic and flavorful, served alongside steamed rice and assorted breads, including garlic bread and focaccia.
Salads and Desserts:
- Beetroot, Edamame, and Pomegranate Salad: A colorful and healthy option drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette.
- Egyptian Salad with Dukkha: Nutty and aromatic, it was a perfect complement.
- Desserts: Guests indulged in New York Style Baked Cheesecake Squares, Warm Chocolate Mud Pie, and Salted Caramel Ice Cream—a sweet end to a wonderful meal.
Schbang: A Festive Feast
Next, we had the honor of catering for Schbang for the first time ever. It was a pleasure to serve 630 guests with a special Jain menu for 15 attendees. Arriving at 9:00 AM for a 10:30 AM start, our team was ready to impress.
Welcome Drinks:
- Berry Fizz Delight: A sparkling drink that was both refreshing and festive.
Starters Buffet:
- Spinach and Ricotta Quiche: A savory delight with a flaky crust.
- Rajwadi Tawa Paneer: Flavored with fenugreek leaves and hung curd, it was a royal treat.
- Crusty Fish in Thai Basil Sauce: A flavorful dish that elevated the dining experience.
Main Course:
The buffet featured:
- Veg Dum Biryani and Chicken Tikka Biryani: Aromatic and hearty, served with raita.
- Pepper Crusted Chicken in Red Wine Reduction Sauce: A sophisticated dish that wowed the crowd.
- Assorted Breads: Including chapatis, laccha parathas, and focaccia, providing the perfect accompaniment.
Salads and Desserts:
We rounded out the offerings with:
- Egyptian Salad with Dukkha: A crunchy, nutty salad that complemented the rich dishes.
- Desserts: Guests delighted in Desi Indulgence in Shot Glasses and Blueberry Cheesecake in Shot Glasses, along with Salted Caramel Ice Cream.
Blenheim Chalcot: A Grand Celebration
Additionally, we also catered for Blenheim Chalcot, hosting a remarkable gathering of 530 guests. Arriving at 9:00 AM to prepare for the 11:00 AM start, we ensured everything was seamless across multiple buffet counters.

- Kung Pao Potato: Spicy and tangy, a hit among the guests.
- Spinach and Ricotta Triangles with Sweet Chili Sauce: Crispy and satisfying, perfect for the crowd.
- Asian BBQ Chicken with Sesame and Ginger Juice: A flavorful option that appealed to all palates.
Main Course:
The buffet showcased a diverse range of dishes:
- Paneer Tikka Lazeez: Grilled to perfection and rich in flavor.
- Malai Kofta Curry: Creamy and delightful, crafted to suit various tastes.
- Pink Saus Pasta: Comforting and delicious, it was a crowd-pleaser.
- Murgh Nizami (Boneless Chicken): Tender and flavorful, a favorite among meat lovers.
- Dal Tadka, Jeera Rice, and Freshly Made Breads: These staples provided comfort and balance.

CDSL: A Remarkable Gathering
Lastly, we had the distinct pleasure of catering a dazzling Diwali celebration for CDSL, one of our oldest and dearest clients. With 700 guests to impress, we embraced the challenge, arriving early to ensure everything was perfect for the 10:00 am start in Lower Parel. Here’s a glimpse into our thoughtfully curated menu:
Starters on Buffet
- Potli Cheese Corn Samosa: These delightful pockets were filled with creamy cheese and sweet corn, bringing a warm, festive spirit to every bite.
- Korean Style Chili Potato: A spicy and crispy favorite, these potatoes brought a fusion twist that had guests coming back for more.
- Sundried Tomato and Olive Tapenade Bruschetta: Topped with a rich, savory tapenade, each bruschetta was a burst of flavor, perfect for mingling.
- Paneer Chili (for Jain guests): This dish offered all the zest of classic paneer chili, crafted to meet the Jain dietary requirements without sacrificing taste.
Main Course on Buffet
- Veg Jalfrezi: A colorful medley of seasonal vegetables, this dish was a feast for both the eyes and the palate, celebrating the essence of fresh produce.
- Paneer Lazeez: Rich and creamy, this paneer dish melted in the mouth, enveloping guests in comfort and indulgence.
- Penne in Paprika Sauce: A delightful fusion of Italian and Indian flavors, the penne was tossed in a vibrant paprika sauce, inviting culinary adventure.

- Assorted Breads: From soft chapatis to flaky parathas and crispy garlic bread, our bread selection complemented every dish, making each bite a celebration.
- Egyptian Salad with Dukkah: Fresh and crunchy, this salad, sprinkled with dukkah, offered a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors on the table.
- Mint Raita & Papad and Pickle: Cool and tangy, the raita paired perfectly with the spicy dishes, while papad and pickle added a delightful crunch.
Dessert
- Chocolate Pastry: Decadent and rich, our chocolate pastries were a sweet indulgence that left everyone craving more.
- Litchi and Lemon Mousse in Shot Glasses: Light and refreshing, these mousses were a delightful way to end the meal, offering a burst of fruity flavor in every spoonful.
We arrived bright and early, equipped with everything we needed to create a seamless dining experience. With two buffet setups and our trusty induction and ovens in tow, we transformed the venue into a culinary safe space. It was a privilege to celebrate Diwali with CDSL, crafting not just a meal but a memorable experience filled with joy and togetherness!
