About The Founder
Anish Pevekar, Founder and Director of Soul Chef is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and started off by working with one of the Big 4 consultancy firms as a fraud and forensic advisor in hospitality sector. During his professional days as a fraud advisor, Anish got an opportunity to closely understand how the F&B sector operates and was fortunate enough to travel to various cities in India. Being an all-time foodie himself, he got the chance to taste a variety of regional delicacies across North and South India. His job proved to be an excellent platform for him to navigate through his fondness for the food and catering industry. By the end of his professional career as a CA, Anish was keen to turn his dream into reality by launching Soul Chef. Anish today is often addressed as 'CA bana Chef' amongst his loved ones; which essentially means that he is a CA by profession, but a Chef by Choice.
Soul Chef's Journey
Soul Chef initially started off as a catering service provider and made its debut as a corporate caterer to 'Star', wherein we catered for events of 'Star Finance' and other departments and have been always loved for our delectable cuisine and high-quality catering service. As we started growing, we managed to cater for some of the events for the Tatas at JRD Tata house for board meetings, dinner parties and a few corporate occasions during the festival season. Our delicious food and high-quality service won us great popularity, which brought us to cater for banking clients like Axis, HDFC, YES Bank, BNP Paribas, etc.
Soul Chef has covered some of the recognized outdoor catering events such as Bollywood Music Project 2018, Windmill 2018, IIFA 2019, Social Nation 2019, Aditya Birla Puraskar Awards 2019 etc. It was only through 'word of mouth' that several directors and event organizing teams have reached out to us for availing catering services for house parties, birthday parties, dinner parties, get togethers and holiday events.
Soul Chef, today can be considered one-stop shop for providing catering and event management related solutions to its customers at cost-effective prices. We have grown into a full-service catering company in Mumbai that can deliver catering services for a variety of events, from social parties to corporate events, weddings to yacht parties, and more.
